Who we are
JB Education helps underperforming schools become centres of excellence so more learners qualify for learnerships, university exemption, and work. We alleviate poverty and unemployment through multi-year educational interventions — not one-off events.
Our team has trained more than 20,000 teachers and uplifted over 100,000 learners nationwide. We work with Departments of Education, corporates, and schools to deliver STEM training, management coaching, and whole-school transformation — in English and Afrikaans.
Corporates trust us because we deliver what CSI and SED teams need: baseline pass rates, Saturday and holiday programmes, signed attendance registers, and termly outcome packs. Our work with partners such as Airports Company South Africa shows what multi-year adoption can achieve — including Lumko High School moving from 79% to 90% pass rate.
Jurgens Basson is a CAPS syllabus panel member and co-author of the Mind Action Series Mathematics textbooks, with experience as a University of Johannesburg mathematics lecturer — training teachers and learners across primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
